These terms apply whenever you use spitfirebarbecue.com or buy something from our online shop, including gift vouchers. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Spitfire Barbecue [company name / company number / registered office to confirm] operates this site — see our contact details below.
Ordering from our shop
- Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
- We try to make sure prices and descriptions are correct, but if we spot a genuine error before your order is fulfilled, we’ll contact you before going ahead.
- Payment is taken securely via Square at checkout; we don’t store your card details.
- We may refuse or cancel an order at our discretion (for example, suspected fraud or a stock issue), in which case we’ll refund you in full.
Gift vouchers
- Vouchers are sold in the amount shown at checkout, including any custom amount you enter, and are delivered by email as a code and a printable ticket.
- Vouchers can be redeemed in person at Spitfire Bristol or Cardiff, or online against an order on this website at checkout — we don’t currently take voucher redemptions by phone.
- Vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.
- A voucher can be used across food and drink, and spent over more than one visit — any remaining balance carries over until it is used up or expires.
- Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and we cannot reissue a voucher that has already been redeemed by someone else — please treat the code like cash.
- If you have not yet redeemed a voucher and believe it has been lost or stolen, contact us with your order number and we will see what we can do, though we cannot guarantee a replacement.
- Because a voucher is a single-use code that could already have been redeemed once sent, the statutory cancellation right below does not apply to it after delivery.
Merchandise — your right to cancel
For physical goods (not gift vouchers), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, as long as the item is unused and in its original condition. Contact us to arrange a return; you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item unless it is faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty or not as described, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Bookings
Table bookings are made through our booking partner, SevenRooms, not through this website’s checkout, and are subject to the terms shown on that booking page and to the booking conditions on our Bookings page (for example, group-size and day restrictions).
Website use
- You may use this site for lawful purposes only.
- All content, branding and imagery on this site belongs to Spitfire Barbecue or its licensors and may not be reused without permission.
Liability
We provide this website and shop as described, but do not accept liability for losses that are not a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, or for issues caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow us to, for example for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
